Mapping buyer windows in Thai modern trade

How key account teams time sell-in, promo mechanics, and POS production against real buyer calendars.

Wall calendar with marked planning dates

Buyer windows in Thailand’s modern trade are not abstract quarters—they are concrete cut-offs for listing, promo booking, and artwork. When a campaign plan ignores those windows, the best creative still arrives late.

Start with the account’s known promo cycles, then work backward through POS production, sell-in meetings, and internal approvals. Build a shared calendar that brand, sales, and agency partners can actually use.

For multi-banner plans, treat each key account as its own rhythm. A hypermarket wave and a convenience chain wave rarely share the same lead time. Aligning those differences early is the difference between a coordinated campaign and a scramble.
