Activation days that survive store reality
Sampling plans fail when they ignore stock readiness, peak hours, and supervisor handovers.
In-store activation looks polished on paper and fragile on a Saturday afternoon. Stock not ready, promoter late, display moved—these are normal, not exceptions.
Build activation kits around failure modes: a short contingency script, a minimum viable display if the full set cannot stand, and a clear escalation path to the field lead. Brief supervisors on what “good enough” still looks like.
Daily reporting should take minutes, not hours. Capture presence, stock, engagement highlights, and blockers. That feedback loop is how the next wave improves without waiting for a post-mortem deck.
